Our agritourism is part of a virtuous territory that, thanks to natural geothermal phenomena, has a sustainable source of heat for environmentally conscious hospitality.

We carry out rigorous recycling collection: vegetable scraps from the kitchen become valuable food for our hens and fertile compost for the garden. With respect for the surrounding ecosystem, leftover meat finds its place in the forest, contributing to the diet of foxes and wolves.
We carefully recycle plastic, aluminum, paper and glass for an environmentally friendly stay.

The farm is deeply committed to environmental sustainability. A 12-kilowatt photovoltaic system covers the entire electrical needs, avoiding the emission of more than 370 tons of CO2. Energy conservation is also embodied in the use of LED lighting, occupancy sensors, and state-of-the-art appliances.

At Ca’Novae, we support small local producers: they are the ones who provide us with the ingredients for our cuisine, the items that beautify our rooms, and the products that you can take with you as a memento of your vacation.

For our guests who choose electric mobility, our farmhouse offers a convenient charging station. Powered by our photovoltaic system, you can recharge your electric car in comfort while you enjoy the flavors and tranquility of the Tuscan countryside.

For water supply and sanitation, we use two wells and a rainwater collection system with a capacious 50,000 liter cistern. A well located in the heart of the farm is for irrigation, with daily monitoring to prevent any leakage. In addition, wastewater from the house is fully recycled through an advanced phytodepuration system, contributing to the irrigation of our lush garden.

Our organic farm covers 3 hectares of Tuscan hills, cultivated with full respect for nature. With us, pesticides and herbicides are banned to preserve the rich biodiversity that surrounds us. Bees, butterflies, fireflies, birds, frogs and small woodland dwellers find a safe and protected habitat here.

For us, the occasional presence of a small insect in your rooms is a living testament to our commitment to a healthy and pristine environment.
